National Signing Day: Who’s Coming To Wisconsin?

National Signing Day is here, arguably the biggest day of college football’s offseason. Today, the stars of tomorrow will decide where to take their talents.

It has been a tough offseason for the Badgers, with Paul Chryst leaving to coach at Pittsburgh. As a result, much of the staff has been gutted, which has made it tough for Wisconsin to hold on to recruits who were attached to figures like Chryst or former offensie line coach Bob Bostad instead of Bret Bielema. Such was the case with offensive lineman J.J. Denman, who decommited from Wisconsin and will instead play for Rutgers. The Badgers also lost another offensive line recruit in Kyle Dodson to Ohio State.

Still, the Badgers will be bringing in a decent amount of talent despite these losses and despite the small class — the Badgers only lost 21 seniors off last season’s roster. One potential scholarship will be going to Jared Abbrederis, much deserved for his contributions as a walk-on in his first two seasons. The group coming to Wisconsin this year is headed by California quarterback Bart Houston, a four-star recruit. Here is the full class as of 1:53 PM CT:
