Montee Ball Was Arrested During Mifflin Street Block Party

"Wisconsin running back Montee Ball was arrested for trespassing after he refused to leave the porch of an apartment at the annual Mifflin Street Block Party, the Madison Police Department confirmed to the Wisconsin State Journal.Ball was given a $429 citation and released, according to WISC-TV. Both news outlets report that Ball was cooperative with police, but the property owner did not want him on the porch.The popular event is held the first Saturday in May, but unlike last year, drinking was not allowed except on private property, the paper reported. There are strict rules this year against underage drinking, capacity on properties and the selling of alcohol.Police reported that as of shortly after 2 p.m., there had been nine arrests and up to 155 people have been cited and released. Only person as of early afternoon was taken to jail."
