Something not good is going on with Nebraska coach Bo Pelini. The first indications of trouble came just before halftime when Pelini was seen sitting on the sideline, apparently not feeling well. In a halftime interview Pelini said he had his pulse taken but was fine. But when halftime ended Pelini remained in the locker room and assistant John Papuchis took over head coaching duties.

Shortly afterward, Pelini was reportedly put in an ambulance and taken to the hospital. No word yet on what is wrong with him but he must be feeling pretty bad if he let himself be hauled away from the stadium in the middle of a game. Not sure if there was anything wrong with him leading up to the game. The incident calls up memories of Minnesota coach Jerry Kill having a seizure on the sideline last year, and we remember how scary that was. We hate Nebraska and aren’t that high on Pelini either but obviously we don’t wish him any ill health. So hopefully this is just a minor thing that can be cleared up with bed rest and chicken soup.

By the way, Nebraska was winning at the time this all happened. So that wasn’t what made him sick.
