First year head coach Gary Andersen looks like he will have one of his top recruits coming to Madison for sure next fall. Jaden Gault, a 4-star recruit and one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the nation, is all but a lock to be donning the cardinal and white of the Wisconsin Badgers next season.
As Badgers recruiting insider Benjamin Worgull of Badger Nation tweeted out Sunday:
Jaden Gault: ‘Even if I didn’t live in Wisconsin, I would still go to UW because of how well I fit in there.” Recruitment has shut down.

Badgers fans and coach Andersen can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they will get a top-notch lineman in next year’s recruiting class. The Madison native had been offered by top programs such as the Arkansas Razorbacks, Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks to name a few. But it looks as if Gault will not only stay in-state but will be playing right down the road from his Monona Grove high school.
There is no doubt how well Jaden Gault fits in the Wisconsin Badgers offense. Anybody who knows anything about college football knows how well the Badgers can run the ball and it is mostly due to how talented and physical the five up front are. At 6’7” and around 300 pounds, Gault already is right around the average of the current linemen (which is around 6’5” and about 305 pounds) on the Badgers roster.
Jaden Gault will be another one of those great lineman that from Wisconsin that everyone talks about. Barring any major setback, Gault will excel for the Badgers on Saturdays and very possible at the next level on Sundays.
