Not only is high school football an exciting time for many, but the playoffs add another level of excitement to the mix. A trip to the state finals at Camp Randall? Talk about icing on the cake. For some top Wisconsin Badgers football recruits, their career at the high school level will be ending at Camp Randall Stadium just as their college careers at the same place will begin a few short months down the road.
Jaden Gault (Monona Grove)
The Badgers have locked up the state’s top prospect and a top 20 offensive tackle in the nation, according to 247Sports. Gault and his Monona Grove teammates knocked off a tough La Crosse Logan team 28-14 Friday night. Up next for the four-star recruit is Greendale, who defeated Xavier 44-20, in a battle for the Division 3 state championship pitting two undefeated teams against each other. Monona Grove is looking to break the school record for most wins in a season.

George Panos and Billy Hirschfeld (Arrowhead)
Two teammates. Two top recruits for the Badgers. One goal in mind, a state championship. Panos is a top five recruit statewide and a top 20 recruit at offensive guard. With Panos and Gault on the offensive front, it will be really hard for the opposition to break through that line in years to come. To say Panos is excited for a trip back to Madison is an understatement:
WE GOING TO STATE!!!!!!! http://t.co/1TctvueVeq

Hirschfeld tends to get lost in the shuffle, but is a top defensive end recruit in his own right. A top 20 defensive end recruit in the nation, Hirschfeld has helped Arrowhead to a 12-1 record and to reach the state finals for the second year in a row. Arrowhead looks to repeat as they will face Franklin in the Division 1 finals.
When the state football championship games roll around, it’s always a very exciting time. The Badger state is very passionate about their football, especially at the high school level. Here’s a chance to catch a glimpse of a few of the future stars of the Wisconsin Badgers.
