Once again the Badgers defeated their rivals from across the Mississippi River the Minnesota Gophers 20-7 and retained Paul Bunyan’s Axe for the unprecedented 10th straight year. The stout defense for Wisconsin was the story in this one as they held the Gophers to only 185 total yards and kept Minnesota’s offense out of the end zone.
