An annual tradition that seems to be growing as the years go on, Saturday marks the 14th US Army All-American Bowl game that features the best of the best high school football players around the country. Becoming more and more a normality for these such games, some of the nation’s top recruits announce their college decision some time during the game.

For the Wisconsin Badgers, they’re hoping they get some good news from running back Joe Mixon and wide receiver Jamil Kamara. Both players are very high on the Badgers recruiting board.

According to 247Sports, Mixon is a five-star recruit and the number one all-purpose back in this class. He is also the 18th overall recruit in the nation. The top three schools for Mixon include the Oklahoma Sooners, UCLA Bruins and the Badgers. It would be a shot in the arm recruiting wise for first-year head coach Gary Andersen and his staff if they were able to land Mixon. He would join a growing list of top running backs from the University of Wisconsin and would find great success in Madison.

Wide receiver Jamil Kamara is a four-star recruit and 10th best athlete in the nation, according to 247Sports as well. Kamara is a versatile athlete that could give defenses fits if put in the right situation. If Andersen wants to start tweaking the Wisconsin offense into more of an uptempo one with many wrinkles, Kamara would fit right into that. Jamil has the Badgers, Pitt Panthers and Virginia Cavaliers as his top three schools.

You can see the US Army All-American bowl today at 12:00 p.m. CT on NBC and as always here at Badger of Honor we will keep you updated on where these two talented recruits decide to commit to.
