The Wisconsin Badgers got a player that will improve a lackluster secondary when safety D’Cota Dixon signed his Letter of Intent on National Signing Day.
Dixon is a three-star recruit and the 73rd ranked safety in the country according to 247Sports. At his official in Madison on January 17th, many thought Dixon gave his verbal but that was not the case. Badgers fans can rest easy though as Dixon made it official today.
Besides Wisconsin Dixon had offers from Michigan State, Louisville, Auburn, Arkansas and West Virginia among others.
Head coach Gary Andersen has to be pleased with landing Dixon as it will provide much-needed help to a weak secondary that gave up some big plays last season. Dixon was also named first-team all-state in the state of Florida, something not easily done with all that talent down in the sunshine state.
Badger of Honor has all your National Signing Day needs as recruits are still signing their letters of intent and faxing them in. Yes, they still use a fax machines kids!
