Looking forward to some AWESOME pre-game, game and post-game discussion tomorrow when Bucky goes for an opening round win over American in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament …

  • RayRivard

Everyone is good when it comes to tournament time. Wisconsin should win, but we all know what can happen at this level. Ready for this, Badgers fans? Should be fun.

  • Douglas Etten

Getting close to the tip in the early games … Badgers should tip around 11:40 a.m. CST!

  • Douglas Etten

Tip times in the early games coming up … Game time for the Badgers still looking to be around 11:30 a.m. CST!

  • Douglas Etten

Tip time at 11:40 CST for No. 2 Wisconsin vs. No. 15 American

  • Douglas Etten

Your starting lineup for the Badgers today is the same one Bo Ryan’s gone with for the extent of the season: Traevon Jackson, Ben Brust, Josh Gasser, Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin has done well away from the Kohl Center this season, going 12-4 on the road (4-1 at nuetral sites). Since Bo Ryan took the job at Wisconsin, the Badgers have been the best true road team in the league, registering 75 wins while posting a .517 win percentage in league play, on the road.

@BHeraldSports: Starting five for American: G Darius Gardner, F Kyle Kager, G Jesse Reed,G John Schoof, C Tony Wroblicky

  • Douglas Etten

Just spoke with Jim Polzin of the Milwauke Journal Sentinel who said the Wisconsin fans are starting to file into the Bradley Center … by the bunches #cardinalredinvasion

  • Douglas Etten

Tip just a few minutes away … #onwisconsin

  • Douglas Etten

    Frank The Tank

  • Douglas Etten

The way this game is going we could have a high scoring affair … Something, that I never thought I’d say, plays in Wisconsin’s favor

  • RayRivard

Both teams feeling one another out early on. Word of advice – make your free throws…

  • RayRivard

American is the better team right now. Making shots.

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin just 2 of their last 10 … A HUGE three point shot there!

  • Douglas Etten

    Just can’t miss … WOW

  • RayRivard

Tuff when there’s a lid on the bucket

  • Douglas Etten

No fear in this American team right now … Crossing half court and jacking them up!

  • RayRivard

Gotta love the one- handed FT shooter for American.

  • Douglas Etten

Brust ties things up … C’MON GUYS!

  • Douglas Etten

Story of the first half: Wisconsin shooting 38% compared to 47% for American …

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin will try going the rest of the first half with Kaminsky on the bench with two fouls … Don’t need to make a HUGE run, score a few buckets, maintain, and get into the second half with a lead

  • Daniel D. Zillmer

In Brust We Trust. He’s the only one who looks completely focused. Brust 11 Points, leading the Badgers. The Senior WANTS It!

  • Douglas Etten

It’d be nice to see him go for 30 today, Danny!

    • Daniel D. Zillmer

      Agreed. Keep Shooting.

  • RayRivard

    Too many commercials

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin really wants to get the ball in the post … Doesn’t matter who it is, if they’re posting up, here comes the basketball … Gotta hit our FT’s

  • RayRivard

Nice to see Bucky going to the bucket

  • Douglas Etten

One of the quickest first steps in basketball belongs to Nigel Hayes

  • Douglas Etten

Sconnie with a chance to go up 10 going into the half …

  • RayRivard

Beautiful way to end a half

  • Daniel D. Zillmer

22-5 Run To End The Half. Beautiful. Wisky calmed down and realized who they were. As Bo Ryan put it, they “Settled In.” Keep the momentum going after the half!

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin still perfect from the FT line today (9-9)

  • Douglas Etten

Wisconsin really starting to click both offensively and on the defensive side of the ball …

  • Douglas Etten

A great shot from Nigel Hayes … I don’t know if there is anyone else this season who’s taken as many strides forward as him

  • Daniel D. Zillmer

Yeah, Hayes has such a calm about him. Imagine him as an upperclassmen. Wow.

  • Douglas Etten

Can we dare say “And There Is Your Dagger”

  • Douglas Etten

Since the 9:50 mark in the first half, Wisconsin is on a 41-8 run offensively

  • RayRivard

Great to see Bucky winning big but better game right now is Dayton vs. Ohio State

  • RayRivard

This is what March is all about. Dayton upsets Ohio State.
