Coach K Picks Wisconsin Badgers to Win NCAA Tournament; Thinks It’s “Bo’s Time”

Rob Kinnan-USA TODAY Sports

Everybody has an opinion and prediction on who will win the NCAA Tournament. For the Wisconsin Badgers, they get a vote of confidence from Duke Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K) who picked Bo Ryan’s squad to win their first national championship since 1941.

Coach K previewed the Final Four on the show Basketball and Beyond this past week. You can listen to the snippet right here.

According to the highly respected Duke coach, Florida will win the other semifinal game setting up a rematch from way back in November with Wisconsin.

Krzyzewski then gives his opinion on who he thinks will be cutting down the nets on Monday night:

Bo Ryan has done an incredible job with this group. I think Florida is better but for some reason I believe that Wisconsin is going to get its [first] national championship in over 70 years. I think its Bo’s time.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Coach K. There’s no denying that he is one of the greatest college basketball coaches to have ever coached this game we love to watch. When Coach K speaks, you listen.

The 2014 Final Four will be played at AT&T Stadium Saturday night, with the Florida Gators taking on the Connecticut Huskies at 5:09 PM CT. That game will be followed by the Kentucky Wildcats and the Wisconsin Badgers, with tip-off set for 7:49 PM CT. Both games will be televised on TBS.
