After Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt signed a mega six-year, $100 million contract a month ago, he had absolutely no clue what to buy. In fact he had to Google “What do rich people buy?” just to get some sort of ideas what to do with his money.

Well thanks to social media, we all know what Watt did with some of his money.

On Twitter Wednesday, Watt posted a picture that showed a white Range Rover with a bow on it and his mom, Connie, standing next to it right outside of Camp Randall Stadium. Yes the former Wisconsin Badgers standout bought him mom a sweet new SUV for her birthday.

Watt explained to ESPN Houstan Texans reporter Tania Ganguli just why he decided to put a bow on it.

"Growing up, on TV I saw all the commercials with cars with red bows on them at Christmas time,” Watt said today. “I always thought to myself, ‘Who can do that? Who can just buy a whole car for somebody’s birthday or for Christmas and put a bow on it and drive it? Could you imagine if you could do that for somebody how awesome that would be?’"

Despite all the horrible stories that have come from NFL players this season, it’s nice to see a great story like this. Watt also explained the major reasoning behind giving his mother such a luxurious gift.

"My whole life my parents have made sacrifices for me. They’ve done everything. They’ve made it so my brothers have had opportunities for success. To be able to give back to her and to surprise her like that, and to see my brother got me a nice video of her when she first saw it, there’s really no better feeling in the world than that to be able to take care of your family, take care of those closest to you. There’s no better way to spend my money than that."

Happy birthday, Connie. You certainly raised your son the right way.
