With the 2017 NFL Draft nearing, many mock drafts are starting to come out. A few former Wisconsin Badgers have found their names on numerous mock draft sites.

The 2017 NFL Draft will be here before we know it, and as we enter post bowl season and pre draft combine, many mock drafts are starting to come to the surface. Six former Wisconsin Badgers have been selected to participate in this year’s draft combine, as most, if not all six, will likely hear their name called in Philadelphia, PA at the end of April.

Running backs Dare Ogunbowale and Corey Clement, cornerback Sojourn Shelton, outside linebackers Vince Biegel and T.J. Watt, and tackle Ryan Ramczyk are the invitees to the combine in Indianapolis, IN. Along with those six players, for Badgers Leo Musso, Rob Wheelwright, and Bart Houston are hoping to either hear their name called or at the very least be selected as undrafted free agents in hopes of earning a chance to make a team this summer.

It’s that time of the year in which mock drafts are starting to pop up all over the internet. While many just have the first round mocked up at the moment, some go more in-depth with multiple rounds, and some even have done all seven rounds.

Becasue the combine is about two weeks away, it’s tough to gauge just where players will wind up. Besides Ramcyzk, most former Badgers in this first version of mocks from around the world-wide web have players scattered across the board.

As the combine comes to a close and we get closer to the 2017 NFL Draft, there will be more of an idea of just which players will get selected where. But until then, dive into version 1.0 of Badgers mock draft.
