BadgerOfHonor.com is looking to add to its stable of sports writers.

Looking to enhance your journalism resume and chime in on all the latest Wisconsin Badgers athletic news? Look no further. Badger of Honor is seeking contributors for its site.

Contributors:

Contributors do a mixture of news coverage and mini-feature pieces. Folks chosen for this position will work directly with FanSided.com editors, as well as Badger of Honor experts on duty to choose and complete assignments covering all Wisconsin Badgers news. Contributors can also pitch their own ideas.

While writers are free to write on their own volition, this is a network that has a higher content output than average.

With college basketball approaching, we are looking to add to our team to help cover this year’s highly-anticipated season, in addition to our other sports coverage

FanSided/Badger of Honor contributors should possess the following skills:

-Strong knowledge of college sports (football, basketball, hockey, volleyball), specifically the Wisconsin Badgers.

-Enjoys writing quickly in order cover breaking news

-Can react quickly and apply opinions and context to breaking news

-Ability to “move the conversation forward” by providing “hot takes” on the sports and entertainment stories of the day

This is an excellent opportunity for prospective writers or freelancers that are looking to to gain experience in the fast-paced world of online breaking news coverage. Contributors get to work directly with the FanSided content team and often have their work featured on the sites of our partners, like Fox News and sometimes others.
