Nebraska: Joshua Kalu, CB

Wisconsin Football is losing Sojourn Shelton and Leo Musso in the secondary and they leaving some serious production and snaps for the Badgers to replace.  Kalu has decent size at 6’1″ 195 pounds.  He would immediately become the tallest defensive back on the Wisconsin roster by a good 2″.   His Nebraska bio is also full of academic honors which I mention because you need intelligent corners who can make quick decisions.  Kalu was tied for 12th in the Big Ten last season with a dozen passes defended including an interception.  Finally, Kalu added 66 total tackles on the season (5.1/game) which was only eight tackles behind Wisconsin’s Musso (5.3/game).  His size and willingness to tackle would be a nice addition for the Badgers.
