“Rose Bowl berth on the line”

1:53 pm – Well just got my plate of food here in the Press Box, now watching the end of the Michigan State game!  Glad I’m inside the Box today, man it’s chilly outside… no I didn’t say I seen Chilly outside, even though he does have time on his hands now after being canned as Vikings coach!  Stay tuned for the in game blog to start around 2:30!

2:03 pm –  Still some hope for PSU, they recovered a fumble with 2:00 left, they are still down by 11 however!  I think this is a Touchdown too now seeing the replay!  We’ll see what the officials say: PSU might have scored, the play is under review!

2:13 pm – TOUCHDOWN PENN STATE!  Score now 28 – 22 MSU…. I said this was a Badger in game blog, but this matters as well!  Stay tuned.

2:29 pm –  Alright Badger fans the time is almost here… a trip to the Rose Bowl on the line!  Stay tuned…. by the way my prediction: Bucky wins big 51 – 17

2:36 pm –  Wisconsin Seniors just honored with their parents.  Bielema’s first recruiting class has been a class act on and off the field, congrats boys on a fine career!

2:42 pm –  Badgers take the field on offense, well here we go!  Let’s see what happens…. stay tuned!

2:45 pm –  TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! Monte Ball from 23 yards out.  That was a very easy trip down the field.  Besides Ball’s TD run, Lance Kendricks had a long catch and run on the drive!  Badgers lead 7 – 0 just 2:30 into the game!

2:49 pm –  Badgers pick off the 1st pass attempt of the day by Northwestern!  Badgers ball, this one is going to get ugly really fast I think…  Rose Bowl here we come!

3:00 pm –  JJ Watt with a sack and forced fumble, Badgers recover and take over at inside the 20!  Monte Ball first run down to the 2 yard line!  On his second carry of the drive Ball takes it in for a TOUCHDOWN!!  Badgers now lead 14 – 0 with 8:02 left in the 1st quarter.

3:09 pm –  Another INT by Wisconsin, this one by Fenelus on a deep ball.  Northwestern has turned the ball over three straight times.  Badgers were forced to punt after three plays though!  Badgers forced to punt for the 2nd time today, they punted 1 time all of last game, and didn’t punt once in the route of Indiana!

3:16 pm –  Northwestern connects on a 47 yard field goal.  Badgers lead now 14 – 3 with 2:55 left in the 1st quarter!

3:21 pm –  END of the 1st Quarter:  Badgers lead 14 – 3 and are driving!

3:28 pm – TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! Monte Ball with his 3rd TD run already in the game!  Badgers now lead 21 – 3 and this is going get really ugly!  Rose Bowl in the sights and minds of Bucky fans now!

3:35 pm –  Badgers have just picked off their 3rd Northwestern pass of the game and forced their 4th turnover of the game.  Wisconsin leads 21 – 3 with the ball inside the 20!

3:38 pm –  TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! Tolzien pass to Gilreath from 18 yards out!  Badgers are putting a hurting on Northwestern today…. no upset here!  Badgers lead 28 – 3 and could they possibly have 83 in their sights again??

3:54 pm –  Northwestern scores a Touchdown on Watkins 6 yard run.  Badgers still lead big 28 – 10

4:00 pm –  TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! Lance Kendricks scores on a long TD pass from Tolzien.  Badgers respond to Northwestern’s score with another of their own.   Badgers now lead 35 – 10

4: 10 pm –  TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! JJ Watt with another forced fumble as he chased down Northwestern QB Watkins and forced the fumble, Bucky recovered and now Tolzien just threw his 3rd TD of the game this one to Nick Toon!  Now Northwestern just returned the kick for a TD…. Wisconsin leads 42 – 17, with 1:20 left in the half!  The kickoff return might just mean Bucky gets to 49 at half!

4:17 pm –  TOUCHDOWN BADGERS!!! Nick Toon catches his 2nd of the day, and Tolzien with his 4th of the day!  Badgers now lead by what I predicted for the final score 49 – 17 with 14 seconds left in the 1st half!  Rose Bowl here we come, and for all of you who have followed this In Game Blog… it’s over, I’m out!  Any important injury information or anything else I’ll post it, but I’m done for now!  You can still catch me on Twitter I’ll stay on there for a while!

5:02 pm –  Okay quick update for all of you….  Clay got his 1st carry of the game and lost two yards, but Ball and White both scored again in the 3rd Quarter.  Badgers lead 63 – 17!  Ball now has 17 TD’s on the season, White has 14, and Clay has 13… who would have ever thought Clay would rank 3rd on the team in rushing TD’s with 13?

5:50 pm –  BADGERS WIN 70 – 23… Wisconsin has earned a share of the Big Ten Title…. and Pasadena get ready a bunch of crazy ass Badger fans will be taking over the city around New Years!!
