It was a crazy weekend of football with plenty of upsets to go around. The Big Ten now claims four of the top five teams in the AP Top 25 poll, and the SEC has a log jam of teams with two losses. It was also the first week the playoff committee released their current 12-team playoff. So how do things shake out after a lot of movement this week?

Dropped from rankings: Iowa State
Georgia and Iowa State lost their conference crowns this weekend after both losing, and now drop out of the automatic bids. Georgia still maintains a strong case for the playoffs, but Iowa State now is on the outside looking in. Oregon remains the top team heading into their matchup against Wisconsin.
With Iowa State dropping out of the rankings, the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers join the bracket for the first time this season. And while they are 10-0, their schedule has exactly been the most difficult, but it's tough to keep the No. 5 team in the country out. That leaves Ole Miss as the number 13 team looking to get back into the pool. With a huge win over Georgia, they are definitely deserving, but there just wasn't a team to bump out for the Rebels this week.
Most everyone else maintains their current position in the playoff picture. The Big Ten and SEC lead the way with four schools each. With only three weeks to go, the picture is beginning to look clearer. Teams like Oregon, Ohio State and Texas are presumably safe, barring epic collapses, and Boise State has a firm grasp on the Group Five slot.
