Yesterday, our own Senior Writer Dan Sinclair presented a handy list to help track the Badgers who have exited the football program and are now attempting to make it in the NFL as undrafted free agents. Of course, we will continue to cover these players as the free agent season progresses, beginning with linebacker Blake Sorensen, who signed with the Seattle Seahawks Wednesday morning, according to Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
Sorensen was a four-year letter winner who moved up from a special teams player as a freshman to eventually earning 11 starts in his senior season at Wisconsin. The Eden Prairie, MN native led the Badgers in tackles in 2010 with 66 (including a career high 10 against Ohio State) and tacked on a pair of interceptions as well.
Sorensen will join John Moffitt as new Seahawks via Madison. He is the latest addition to a Seattle linebacking corps including three-time Pro Bowler Lofa Tatupu, David Hawthorne, Aaron Curry, and Matt McCoy.
