Reason 3: They Cannot Disappoint

We’ve all been on this ride before. As I type this sentence, Wisconsin just tacked on another field goal to go up 68-10 on Bowling Green. A score reminiscent of the Nebraska title game.

Except for volleyball there still can’t be a let down this year because the experience of a winning and successful program is still new. There was no Barry Alvarez of Badgers volleyball before now, there wasn’t even a Bret Bielema.

It’s the Kelly Sheffield show, and we should all be thankful for that. Nobody can line up this program by the successes of others seasons.

Maybe the tune will change after three more trips to the NC without a win, but being a team that was never ranked up until last year to a team anywhere close to the top is more than enough to give Badger fans that Rose Bowl/Hockey-esque hope again.
