No. 1: Running Back Melvin Gordon

No surprises here, Melvin Gordon is the key to a win over Auburn in the Outback Bowl.

What is there to say that hasn’t already been said about Gordon?

He’s piled up award after award in honor of the amazing and record-breaking season he’s had.

With one game left in his Wisconsin Badgers career, Gordon will be looking to go out with a bang.

Auburn has given up 149.5 yards per game this season, while Gordon is averaging nearly 180 yards a contest. Auburn gives up 26.1 points a game, Gordon has been good for nearly 12.5 points an outing.

Auburn will key on Gordon all game. That won’t surprise anyone.

But if Gordon is able to overcome a stacked box, maybe with a little help from the passing game, Wisconsin will be able to control the pace of the game, give its defense some rest against a high-powered offense, and come away with an Outback Bowl victory.
