Wisconsin has had its highs and lows this season, from the Big Ten loss to Northwestern and the embarrassment of the Big Ten Championship to the excitement of Melvin Gordon’s big day against Nebraska and the thrilling victory over Auburn in the Outback Bowl.
Speaking of Melvin Gordon, it would have been tough to narrow down the top 15 plays of the season from the star running back alone. A Heisman runner-up season had plenty of amazing plays to choose from, but I tried to limit Gordon’s plays on this list to the most noteworthy of the year.
Not every 50-plus yard touchdown run made this list, even though there were many, and each was impressive.
Sit back, relax, and page through our Top 10 Plays of the Year, starting with a few honorable mentions.
