I said the Iowa game would be featured again, and here we are. When we last left off, Wisconsin had used a long Tanner McEvoy run to grab the momentum and take a 16-3 lead at the half.
That lead shrunk to 19-11 by the end of the third quarter, and with 11 minutes to play, Iowa closed the gap to 19-17.
The Badgers threw up the bat signal: time for some Melvin Gordon.
Facing a long 3rd and 13 from their own 33, Gordon went straight up the field and grabbed a toss from Stave to pick up a big chunk of yardage.
Two plays later, after a 10-yard catch, Gordon took a handoff, waited patiently for a hole to open, and made a perfect cut to score a 23-yarder, putting Wisconsin up 26-17.
The Badgers hung on to win 26-24.
