No. 4: Gordon goes the distance in Tampa
As has been mentioned several times in this piece, the Badgers struggled to pass the ball this season.
That didn’t change in the Outback Bowl, when Wisconsin squared off against Auburn.
Melvin Gordon was featured early and often as the Badgers looked to gain their first bowl game win in several years.
Trailing Auburn 17-14 in the third quarter, the Badgers called on Gordon and he didn’t disappoint.
Facing a 4th and 1 from the Wisconsin 47, Gordon took the handoff, juked a defender, and raced to the pylon, stiff-arming his way into the endzone to give Wisconsin a late third quarter lead.
