How do you pick out just one play to encapsulate the best of the season?
It has to be a big play that made an impact in an important game. It also just has to be an amazing play.
This 62-yard touchdown run from Melvin Gordon against Nebraska shows off just about every facet of the back’s arsenal.
There’s speed, power, athleticism, vision, strength, and did I say speed, all on display as Gordon takes the ball around the edge, explodes off of the corner and hurdles a defender while keeping his feet in bounds on the way to a 62-yard touchdown run.
Add to the fact the Badgers trailed Nebraska 17-3 prior to the run, and the touchdown sparked a huge comeback that saw Wisconsin score 56 unanswered points on the way to a 59-24 victory.
