2015 National Signing Day: Wisconsin Badgers Load up on Linemen and Running Backs
By Jim Oxley
Jordan Stevenson
One of the most exciting prospects of the recruiting class is Dallas, Texas running back Jordan Stevenson. He’s a four-star running back, according to 247Sports.
Stevenson was a unique recruit for Wisconsin, as he gave his verbal while the program was in limbo after Gary Andersen left for Oregon State and before Paul Chryst was aboard. He was one of several new Badgers recruited by Wisconsin running backs coach Thomas Brown.
Stevenson measures in at 5-9, 190 pounds, and has great speed and vision on the field, with the ability to break a few tackles along the way.
Corey Clement will be the starter week one for the Badgers, but we’ve seen Wisconsin regularly use two or three running backs in fluid rotation. Stevenson will get his chance to play for Wisconsin this season.
