Detroit Lions: Round 1, pick 23

The next place Gordon could end up is heading to Detroit at number 23 overall.

The Lions will need help at running back soon, and it might happen this off-season. Reggie Bush was due a lot of money next season, and the team decided to part ways with the veteran player.

That leaves the Lions with power back Joique Bell and receiving back Theo Riddick, but Bell is closing in on the age-30 threshold as well, and the Lions will likely need to address the position soon.

Gordon and Gurley have both been mentioned in many mock drafts as likely first round targets for the Lions.

I won’t get into too much analysis of Gordon to the Lions, as Badger of Honor’s Jon Rzepecki covered that topic recently.
