(5) Arkansas Razorbacks

Joshua Lindsey-USA TODAY Sports

You might be shocked to see the Arkansas Razorbacks on this list, but they are a good basketball team that matches up well with most teams. They can score points in bunches, ranking 13th in the nation with 78.5 points per game.

The Razorbacks are led by two outstanding players in Bobby Portis (17.7 ppg) and Michael Qualls (15.4 ppg). These two can score and they can hurt you in a number of different ways. Portis is also a solid rebounder, averaging 8.8 per game to lead Arkansas. This team is nowhere near the Nolan Richardson led “40 minutes of hell” teams from the late 80’s to mid-90’s but they do force teams to turn the ball over. Arkansas is seventh in the nation in turnover margin, plus 4.3 turnovers per game against their opponents.

As a 5-seed this team could catch fire and get very dangerous, especially if they were to meet the Badgers in the Sweet Sixteen. March was made for teams like Arkansas where any given day they could pull off an upset.
