(2) Arizona Wildcats

In a no-brainer, the Arizona Wildcats are a team that could easily make a run to the Final Four or even win a national championship. As the number two seed in the West region and the exact same record as the Badgers, this team has what it takes to go all the way. All the more reason for Wisconsin to watch out for a hungry Wildcat team.

Stanley Johnson leads the team with 14.1 points per game and two other players average double figures, but there are also three players that are averaging just under 10 points per game on the season.

Arizona can score and shoots very well, shooting just a shade under 50 percent from the floor, good enough for sixth-best in the country. They average 76.4 points per game while giving up just 58.6 points per game. The Wildcats have a slew of quality wins, including beating a Gonzaga team that some are picking to go to the national championship.

The case could have been made for Arizona to move into the one seed had the Badgers not won the Big Ten tournament. Head coach Sean Miller has a great team in front of them and they have not forgotten the agony of defeat in overtime a year ago in the Elite Eight at the hands of Wisconsin. As bad as Wisconsin wants to get to the Final Four again, Arizona would love nothing more than to avenge that loss from a year ago.

As much as this team scares me from this region, there is no doubt this would be a classic matchup between two very good teams trying to reach Indianapolis.
