Sam Dekker

The real Sam Dekker has finally arrived in Madison. Over the last month, he has been great. His performances against UNC and Arizona will be remembered by Badger fans for ages. He’s been aggressive and it has been a joy to watch.

And he’s proven in the clutch, in case you haven’t seen his shot in the Wisconsin State Championship. I really like this option, except he doesn’t have much of a mid-range game.

He either has to get all the way to the hoop, which may be hard against Kentucky’s giants, or shoot a 3. Dekker has been hot, but do you really want a 33 percent 3-point shooter launching one from deep with the game on the line?
