2015-2016 Outlook: The depth at guard is going to be thin next year with the loss of three year starter Traevon Jackson and four year starter Josh Gasser, and the projected starter at shooting guard, Zak Showalter, isn’t a very good shooter. Given that, I think Pritzl can earn major minutes next year. While he almost certainly will not start, his shooting ability will make him a very dangerous weapon off the bench.
Long-Term Outlook: Pritzl is going to be a Wisconsin star. As a freshman and sophomore, he’ll play major minutes off the bench. But in his junior and senior years, he truly has the ability to explode. I can see him being a 15 PPG scorer by the time he’s a senior.
Player Comparison: I think he can be Ben Brust, except better off the dribble and more athletic. Another good comparison is a poor man’s Nik Stauskas.
