What will Wisconsin’s regular season record be?

Rayan: I think Wisconsin will go 11-1. Even though Alabama is breaking in a new quarterback, their powerful front 7 will be too much for the young and inexperienced Badgers offensive line. That’s a loss, but it will be closer than people think. After that, I think they’ll win out. They play at Minnesota, but Wisconsin beat the Golden Gophers the last 11 times they played. Why should this one be any different? Nebraska in Lincoln is a coin flip, but Wisconsin’s defense will help them inch out a win.

  • Jim: Wisconsin’s schedule is so favorable this season it’s hard to imagine them losing more than two games. Everyone expects Alabama to take them week one, and I’ll reluctantly add that to my list of losses. Wisconsin’s two toughest road games — at Minnesota and at Nebraska — could produce a loss, too. I’ll say Wisconsin keeps the Axe but loses the Freedom Trophy. That’s a 10-2 season for the Badgers.

Erik: The Badgers will finish with double-digit wins for the second year in a row. Wisconsin will finish 10-2 in the regular season. The Badgers will lose to Alabama and Nebraska, as well as Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

Taylor: Wisconsin will finish with a 10-2 record. I don’t give them much of a chance to beat Alabama so they lose there. I can also seem them losing either at Nebraska or at Minnesota. I’m hoping they hang onto the Axe, however.

Jon: Wisconsin will go 10-2. As much I hope the Badgers beat Alabama, I just don’t see it happening this early into the season. I think Wisconsin has a great shot to beat LSU next year at Lambeau, but this meeting up front is essentially a Bama early homecoming. I think Illinois will steal one in Champaign.
