One of the biggest lingering questions right now heading into Saturday’s game is whether or not No. 1 wideout Alex Erickson will be able to get out on the field against Nebraska.

Erickson suffered a concussion after a nasty helmet-to-helmet hit against Iowa last week, and only returned to practice on Thursday. He needs to remain symptom free in order to get out onto the field.

Erickson is clearly Joel Stave’s favorite target. His 26 catches are 12 more than the next Badgers on the list, and he leads the receivers with 350 reception yards this season.

He’s obviously Wisconsin’s best receiver, and is primed for a big day if he can stay out on the field. Nebraska is giving up about 350 passing yards per game to opposing offenses, and the matchup looks favorable for Joel Stave and Co. if the group can stay healthy.

Time will tell if Erickson is good to go, and if he plays, he should have a big game for the Badgers.
