Devin Harris spent 2001-2004 at UW, and turned his collegiate success into a high draft pick, fifth overall in the 2004 NFL Draft.

Harris was drafted by the Washington Wizards, but was immediately involved in a draft day trade to the Dallas Mavericks. He was with Dallas until 2008, spent 2008 to 2011 with the New Jersey Nets, was a member of the Utah Jazz in 2011-2012 and played for the Atlanta Hawks in 2012-2013. He returned to Dallas in 2013, where he remains to today.

Harris averages 12.1 points, 4.7 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game over the course of his 11-year career. He has played in 717 regular season games and 59 post-season games.

Harris was named an NBA All-Star in 2009.

Wednesday, Harris begins his 12th year as an NBA player when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Phoenix Suns to open the 2015-16 NBA season.
