While the Wisconsin offense has struggled through injuries, one player has been scary good all season.

Senior receiver Alex Erickson can just flat-out play, and he’s even worked through a few injuries of his own to be the most consistent receiver for the Badgers.

Erickson leads the team with 52 total receptions, nearly double what the next closest receiver — the now-injured Robert Wheelwright‘s 28 catches — has produced. Erickson has 645 reception yards and a pair of touchdowns, and is clearly capable of performing no matter who’s throwing the ball as we saw last week.

Last week also showed off other aspects of his game, as Erickson took 4 carries for 81 yards to lead all rushers in the contest.

Erickson is clearly the most valuable member of this Wisconsin Badgers offense, and his performance to this point in 2015 should leave his opponents shaking in their cleats.
