Vitto Brown has been and continues to be sort of the forgotten man on the Wisconsin Badgers roster. He’s played sparingly the past two years, but will get a chance to play big minutes this season as the Badgers lack height in the front court.
He’s not a true center, and no one is on the Badgers roster, so labeling him a center is probably not the correct nomenclature. Expect Brown to draw opposing centers often on defensive assignments, so we’ll stick with the label here.
Brown won’t be asked to do much more than play defense, take care of the ball and hit an open shot when it comes his way. He’s only attempted 70 field goals in his career, but he’s knocked down more than 41 percent of them.
He’ll need to continue hitting open shots and play strong defense to accomplish what the Badgers need of him this season.
