He holds the single season record for completions, 211, a feat he achieved as a junior in 2009. Tolzien’s senior season in 2010 came close with another 196 completions, but it was special for many more reasons. Tolzien was near perfect in 2010, competing 72.9 percent of his passes (best single-season percentage all time at UW) and throwing 16 touchdowns against 6 interceptions, amassing a passer efficiency rating of 165.9.

That incredible senior season earned Tolzien the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, given annually to the best senior quarterback in the country.

His career 68.1 completion percentage is the second-best career number at Wisconsin, and his 21 career wins are sixth-best all time among Badgers quarterbacks. He finished his career 21-5 at UW, totaling the best winning percentage (.808) in school history.

His 5,271 passing yards are fifth-best in school history, and his career passer efficiency rating of 153.2 is second-best all time in school history.

Tolzien currently backs up Aaron Rodgers for the Green Bay Packers.
