Wisconsin vs. #14 Colorado: December 28, 2002

Alamo Bowl: Wisconsin 31, Colorado 28 (OT)

The 2002 Alamo Bowl turned into another spectacular finish for the unranked Wisconsin Badgers, who took the field in San Antonio against a ranked Colorado squad.

Wisconsin trailed 14-7 heading into the second quarter, but Brooks Bollinger found Brandon Williams and Darrin Charles for touchdown passes in the second as Wisconsin took a 21-14 lead going into halftime.

Colorado scored two touchdowns of their own in the third quarter to take the lead back at 28-21, a score that held until late in the game.

The Badgers embarked on a 10-play, 80-yard drive to close the game, capped by a Bollinger 1-yard touchdown run with 45 seconds left in the game.

The tying score sent the game into overtime, where sophomore kicker Mike Allen knocked through the game-winning 37-yard field goal as the Badgers upset the Buffaloes 31-28.
