QB Bart Houston, WR Rob Wheelwright, S Leo Musso, RB Dare Ogunbowale

These group of four players, in my opinion, are on the outside looking in when it comes to being selected in the 2017 NFL Draft. Although he played well at times last season, Bart Houston might get some looks from teams as simply a practice squad player. Same goes for wide receiver Robert Wheelwright, who in 2016 finally played one full season after being riddled with injuries the previous three. He finished his career with 69 receptions, 890 yards, and six touchdowns.

Safety Leo Musso and running back Dare Obunbowale could be the exceptions, however. I don’t believe Ogunbowale will get selected in the draft, but he has a chance getting signed as an undrafted free agent. After moving from the secondary to running back to add more depth in 2014, Dare rushed for 819 yards and seven touchdowns in 2015 filling in for the injured Corey Clement and 506 yards and five touchdowns in a back up role last year.

Musso I believe made the most of his opportunity among all Badgers last year. The safety was second on the team in tackles and led the team with five interceptions. My heart says Musso gets selected late in the draft. My head is saying he gets signed as an undrafted free agent and at the very least gets a chance to compete for a practice squad spot.
