Maryland Terrapins: 22-5 (10-4)

Fresh off an impressive week that included a road victory over the surging Northwestern Wildcats, the Terrapins suffered a setback in the standings- falling at Wisconsin despite 27 points from their star point guard Melo Trimble.

Unlike their counterparts, Maryland has a fairly easy remaining schedule, but also unlike the other teams- they do not control their own destiny and will need some help if they wish to clinch a share of the Big Ten title.

Maryland has had some weird losses this season, which include a home loss to Nebraska and a game they are likely wishing they had back- a one-point home loss to Purdue in which they virtually gave away.

Three of the final four games for the Terps will be at home, with the one lone road game coming at the last place team in conference: Rutgers. Known for their ability to win close games, but also play in a lot of close games- no game on the schedule is a gimmick for the Terrapins, yet out of all the teams still contending for Big Ten championship, it is safe to say their schedule is the most favorable.

  • vs. Minnesota
  • vs. Iowa
  • at Rutgers
  • vs. Michigan State
