It’s been a week since the Wisconsin Badgers lost their Sweet 16 heartbreaker to the Florida Gators.
One week has passed, and I know a lot of Wisconsin Badgers fans are still finding it difficult to get over the painful buzzer-beating loss to the Florida Gators. Trust me, I am too.
While the college basketball season is done and over, I can already feel a new era shifting in the Wisconsin men’s basketball program. The four seniors: Bronson Koenig, Nigel Hayes, Zak Showalter, and Vitto Brown did so much and were a part of some amazing times during their careers at Wisconsin.

That is why one letter to all four is not enough and the amount of words needed to say everything that would need to be said about each player would be far too much. So here is my thank you letter to Bronson Koenig:
There are too many things to narrow down in a thank you letter for Koenig. It certainly cannot be ignored to point out all the accomplishments and accolades you brought in for not only individual recognition, but also the Wisconsin basketball program.
Additionally, like Nigel, you also were not afraid to speak your mind and stand up for what you believe in.
But the most important thing you did for us Badgers fans was the amount of winning and clutch plays you brought to us. We can never forget the countless times you single-handedly brought back the team in tough situations or hit a late three pointer to go ahead or ice the game. Let’s revisit:
There’s a lot more that could be shown and a lot more that could be said. From your time as a freshman taking over for a hurt Traevon Jackson to battling through lingering injuries as a senior, thank you for devotion to the program and all your contributions as a player.
