College basketball have come and gone for the Wisconsin Badgers; what’s next?
When college basketball comes to an end, many collegiate programs are gearing up for the summer season, specifically baseball.
Unfortunately for the Wisconsin Badgers, like every year they will be looking passed baseball season and what lies ahead for them. Despite the fall being the time of the year where everything picks up again, and then into the winter, there are still a few storylines to keep an eye on if you are a fan of the Cardinal and White.
Malik Zaire
This story has really seen a roller coaster of excitement and at this point, no one really knows when this topic will write an ending to it. The graduate transfer quarterback had first opened up and said that Wisconsin was on top of his list, followed by North Carolina, and now Wisconsin (and others) again?
At this point, do Badgers fans even want him? Whatever your opinion may be in terms of welcoming him to Madison, a decision will be made.

Men’s Basketball: Transfer?
‘Tis the season for transfers in college basketball and entering next season the Wisconsin men’s basketball team will have one open scholarship available, meaning the Badgers could be an attractive spot for a possible (graduate) transfer to come play at.
Under Bo Ryan, the Badgers never welcomed this type of “disruption” to the roster, but anything is possible under Greg Gard now.
“It depends on the situation,” Gard said last March when asked about Wisconsin being a destination for a transfer. “It would have to be the right fit, because you’re bringing someone in for such a short period of time that if it’s not the right fit, it upsets your apple cart, so to speak.
PSU announces F Payton Banks will graduate this spring + could play as a grad transfer in '17-18. Hmmm. #Badgers

It is unlikely someone will end up at Wisconsin as a transfer, but you never know.
Badgers in the NFL Draft
Six former Wisconsin football players participated in the NFL Draft Combine and will be awaiting to hear their name called later in April at the NFL Draft.
Offensive lineman Ryan Ramczyk is predicted to go first in the Draft from the Badgers, while others such as T.J. Watt and Vince Biegel have been receiving high praise as well. Keep an eye out for others- Corey Clement, Sojourn Shelton, Dare Ogunbowale, to name a few as potential sleepers that could hear their name called earlier than expected.
The NFL Draft will begin Thursday, April 27.
