Versatility: Based on his measurables and production during his only season in Madison, Ramcyzk projects as a tackle.  But as previously noted, there are no speed/athletic numbers from the NFL Combine or Wisconsin’s Pro Day.  But Ramcyzk can also slot in as Guard if his athleticism does not measure up.  In sum, it’s a lot easier to start at Left Tackle and move to Right Tackle (or slide inside) than the opposite.  As a GM, it is smarter/safer to draft a guy like Ramcyzk early as your Left Tackle and have the ability to move him if necessary and still contribute.  The 1st round is a dangerous place to take chances.  Don’t.  Take Ryan Ramcyzk.
