Early College Football Signing Period Added

The College Commissioners Association has created an early signing period for college football recruits starting later in 2017.

There will be a 72-hour signing period from December 20-December 22, 2017 where recruits can sign a National Letter of Intent.  We all know the NCAA would never approve a rule change without exclusive devotion to the best interest of its student athletes.  After all, most will turn pro in something other than sports.

This change will unleash a frantic dash for the top recruits bumping up the timeline for the recruiting process.  But here is a look at the possible impacts of the rule change.
