We are just 74 days away from Big Ten football teams taking the field for the 2017 season

This post looks at the best college football matchups week-by-week featuring at least one Big Ten teams.  So not just Big Ten conference clashes, but including some of the non-conference games on the schedule this season.

Games with more likely impact on the College Football Playoff and the bowl slate are more highly regarded.  We’ll do our best to incorporate a healthy Wisconsin bias to this look at 2017 Big Ten football games.

In general the question for each week is which games will most directly effect the Big Ten conference standings and as a result the postseason outlook?
