Wisconsin has played in the Big Ten Championship Game four times in its six years of existence. The road to the title game from the Big Ten West runs through Madison. So the mean way to say this is that the Huskers-Gophers are playing for the silver medal in the division. The best team outside of the Badgers. The more moderate way to say it is that Nebraska and Minnesota have the best odds of making it to the Big Ten title game other than the Badgers. So the winner of this matchup will have the edge in the division race to dislodge Wisconsin.
