Saturday September 9th:Â Oklahoma @ The Ohio State, 6:30 p.m. CST
So this matchup was thought to be a possible National Championship preview last fall in Norman but the Buckeyes dominated the Sooners 45-24.  Oklahoma returns Heisman Trophy favorite Baker Mayfield but not long-time head coach and program legend Bob Stoops.  The Ohio State has a Heisman hopeful in its own right in quarterback JT Barrett.  The Ohio State’ last high profile game was a humbling shutout against Clemson in the College Football Playoff last season.  You can be the home crowd in Columbus and the Buckeyes will be looking to erase those bitter memories.  A big win could once again fuel a run to the Playoff this season.  This is the type of game that the Playoff Committee looks at when comparing teams with similar resumes.
