Defensive Line

The Badger’s 3-4 defense is designed to let the linebackers and safeties fill the stat sheet.  The big guys up front create chaos and keep the LBs and S clean so they can tackle the ballcarrier.  Last season, Conor Sheehey had the most tackles of all defensive lineman with 27 total, good for 13th on the team.   Sheehey’s four TFLs was best among DL, good for 7th on the team.

The question for Wisconsin Football this season is whether the senior trio of Sheehey, Chikwe Obasih, and Alec James can make some noise in the trenches so the LB don’t get all the glory.
