Secondary

Wisconsin Football will have to replace Sojourn Shelton and Leo Musso.  Those two combined for nine of the Badgers 22 INTs.  Musso’s 74 tackles was good for 2nd on the team.  The Badgers current list seven CBs on its roster with one senior, Derrick Tindal, along with three freshman, one sophomore, and one junior.  Wisconsin Football has 11 S on its roster with four seniors in that position group.

The question for the secondary is whether some younger players can take a step forward, especially at CB.  Frankly, the secondaries best friend is a strong front seven and wicked pass rush.  If Wisconsin Football can pressure QBs at a high rate it makes the CB job a lot easier.
