What if Wisconsin Badger could take one player from each Big Ten West opponent?

The Big Ten West is perhaps fairly assessed to be the weaker of the Big Ten divisions. After all, reigning conference champion Penn State is in the East.

So are recent College Football Playoff participants (though not scorers) Michigan State and The Ohio State.  And really, who has it better than Michigan and Jim Harbaugh (answer: apparently The Ohio State the last two seasons)?

Fortunately, Wisconsin is in the gentler Big Ten West.  This hypothetical exercise grants Wisconsin Football the power to poach one player from each Big Ten West opponent.

So who would you take from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern and Purdue?  We’ll consider positional need of course but wining takes talent so best player on the roster is generally the shortest route to success.
