10 Questions with Spartan Avenue about Michigan State Football
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA – NOVEMBER 26: Josiah Price
Michigan State has to replace three of its top four pass catchers from 2016. Do they have the depth to do so?
ANSWER: Fortunately, that’s one area where the Spartans shouldn’t worry. Although they possess a young receiving corps, the Spartans have a ton of depth. Losing Donnie Corley to off-field issues was the only unexpected blow, but bringing back Trishton Jackson, Felton Davis III and redshirt freshman Cam Chambers, along with incoming freshmen Hunter Rison, Cody White and C.J. Hayes, this team is deep at the position.
Badger of Honor Reaction:
This is where Connor’s previous answers on the QB situation and coaching matters greatly. Can they get the ball to playmakers consistently? It doesn’t sound like Michigan State needs to rely on individual brilliance from the signal caller to put up points.
