Who replaces Chris Godwin as the big play deep threat?

Saeed Blacknall would be my pick.  He’s underachieved most of his career but the talent is there.  Depending on if he avoids off field issues, he coudl be that guy.  If not, Penn State has deep threats like DaeSean Hamilton, DeAndre Thompkins and even tight end Mike Gesicki can stretch the field.

Badger of Honor Reaction:

This just sounds terrifying.  Just what opposing teams wanted to hear, there are now multiple weapons.  Perhaps no single player does replace Godwin and instead Penn State has even more balance in the passing game with multiple weapons at its disposal.  That TE is of course huge, 6’6″ 251 pounds, and a matchup nightmare in his own right anywhere on the field.  Coaches recruit and develop talent with an eye always fixed towards scheme fit.  Penn State likes throwing vertical so they’re going to mold the receiving corps to do just that.
